AIX on Power Certificate Overview
The AIX on Power Certificate offers 100% on-line training in the use and administration of distributed enterprise systems through IBM’s AIX/Power platform. Students discover important features of IBM’s Power architecture (formerly Systems i and p), and learn to operate and administer these systems using the AIX UNIX operating system.
The future of UNIX is AIX and these skills are in high demand. More than 1800 users of competitive hardware have migrated to Power systems over the last 3 years, resulting in a significant increase in requirements for AIX and Linux on Power skills. With funding from IBM, the Institute for Data Center Professionals at Marist College is offering this 2-course certificate in AIX On Power Systems.
